Frequently asked questions
Are sibling or family pictures included in your maternity and newborn shoots?
Yes, they absolutely are included!!! During your maternity shoot we would capture you by yourself in a variety of poses and different gowns and I always make sure to include your partner or other children into those pictures. When it's time for your newborn shoot, I will take photos of your precious new baby by themselves as well as the sibling(s) together, as well as parent photos and family pictures.
Extended family like grandparents and family pets are welcome to join, however, an upgrade fee to the first upgrade package is then mandatory ($150 - 5 additional images).
Do I need to bring anything?
I supply everything for your newborn, so there's no need for you to bring anything at all. I also have a client wardrobe if you'd like to take advantage of not having to dress yourselves for the shoot.
For the maternity shoot you can select from over 50 stunning maternity gowns and fabrics as well as accessories.
How far in advance do I need to book?
To keep it simple - the earlier the better!
I will always try my best to fit you in, but to make sure you have a choice of date/time, I'd suggest booking in about 2 months in advance if possible.
Newborns obviously arrive on their own schedule, so I need to allow for some flexibility. I usually book you in with a tentative date at first and then adjust it, if need be, once your precious baby arrived.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
Depending on the shoot and the package you chose, I usually deliver your "proof gallery" within a couple of days. This is a gallery of your best unedited images. You then have the opportunity to select your favourite images and either choose the amount that's included in your session price, or upgrade to bigger packages. Once you've chosen your images, I will edit those pictures and will deliver your final gallery within 2 weeks time.
